SOULSCAPES
The essence of my artistic work is the question: ‘Who am I’.
The most profound answer I find in nature,
where my feeling of being seperated
disappears in oneness.
This profound research I transmit in my series ‘Soulscapes’.
Wondrous compositions of images presenting landscapes 
of mystical beauty and symbolism.
While we have the view outside, it seems that 
we are travelling inside of us.
Hidden doors are opening, and like a little child, we 
discover a magical universe in a wonderful flower or in a 
unique stone. By the combination of two photographs in one,
we travel beyond our limited view of reality.
In this vastness we may feel a little glimpse of the
greatness of our soul.
Very touched to be nominated at the Monochrome Photography award 2022 with the second place, category abstract, professional !!

Here the text of the nominated photo:

Photography, taken 2022 in france, alsace Singing reeds the sounds in the reeds are chanting creating a sweet little music in my heart I wish it would never end feeling my singing heart (text Andrea Christl 2022).

Andrea Christl born 1970 in Ratzeburg, germany lives and works as a free-lance photographer in Freiburg. germany Formations: 1991-93 studies of phtography at lette Verein, Berlin 2000-01 studies of visual arts at Burg Giebichenstein, Halle an der Saale The essence of my artistic work is the question. ‘who am I?’. The most profound answer I find in nature, where I start to feel a taste of oneness. This deep research I would love to transmit trough my photos.

Very thankful and happy to be nominated at the 19 Julia Margaret Cameron Award with two of my photographic series!

der Strasbourg Art Photography 2022

Dies ist der Ausstellungsort, an dem meine Fotos zu sehen sein werden.
Insgesamt sind es 50 Fotograf*Innen die an 50 Orten in ganz Strasbourg ausstellen.

Die Ausstellung findet in Barcelona in der Galerie Fotonostrum statt (http://www.fotonostrum.com).
Vernissage ist am 13.Oktober und bis 30.Oktober ist die Ausstellung zu sehen.
Ich werde mit der abgebildeten Fotoserie  ‘deep inside’ mit dabei sein!
Vom 1.bis 30. November 2022 findet die ‘ Strasbourg Art Photography ‘ statt.
Einen Monat wird es unterschiedlichste Veranstaltungen zum Thema ‘Kunstfotografie’ geben!
An 50 verschiedenen öffentlichen Orten gibt es Ausstellungen von 50 verschiedenen Fotograf*Innen.
Es berührt mich sehr mit ausgewählt zu sein!
